5 Minute DIY Placemat Wall Planter

This simple craft turns an inexpensive round placemat into a beautiful hanging wall pocket for flowers or greenery. Perfect for entryways, kitchens, porches, or gifts.

Supplies

• 1 round woven placemat

• Hot glue gun and glue sticks

• Rope or thick twine for the hanger

• Artificial flowers or greenery

• Scissors (optional)

Instructions

1. Lay the round placemat flat on a table.

2. Fold the bottom half upward, slightly overlapping one side to create a pocket shape.

3. Apply hot glue along both side edges to seal the sides.

4. Cut rope or twine long enough to form a handle.

5. Tie knots at each end of the rope.

6. Glue each knotted end inside the side seams of the pocket.

7. Insert flowers or greenery inside the pocket.

8. Hang on a hook, rack, or wall.
