From the Desk of the Chief Public Affairs Officer

An Update, A Thank You, and What We Learned Together - Continued

CUE Family,

Since the note we sent on April 13, David, the leadership team, and I have taken a little time to talk through what actually happened - and more importantly, what we experienced from you. What I have to say is, simply, thank you.

What came back from this community was not what most companies get in a moment like that. There was patience where there could have been frustration, encouragement where there could have been criticism, and there was genuine care. Not just about the service, but about us - about the people behind it. We had many of you reach out simply to check in… to ask if we were alright, to encourage the teams working through it. We received prayers. We felt that, and we appreciate it more than we can fully express. We recognize that it isn’t typical, and we don’t take it lightly.

As we’ve reflected on it together internally, one thing has become clear: this revealed something deeper. This isn’t just a group of subscribers using a product - there is alignment present - an alignment with what CUE stands for and with why we’re building it. We want to acknowledge that this isn’t something that can be manufactured.

We’re building a community rather than a platform; a community that we’re responsible for serving well. We’re doing the work on our side by tightening things up, strengthening systems, and making sure we come out the other side better.

This incidentally raised the bar for us in a different way, reminding us that we need to be worthy of the kind of people we’re connected to. While it’s easy to speak on what’s off or broken, we choose to focus on people choosing patience; people choosing grace.

As we approach the 250th anniversary of this country next year, it’s a reminder of something simple: What holds things together has always been people. We meant it in our last message; we mean it again here.

We’re grateful for you.

God bless you and yours, and God Bless America.
